I am a teaching assistant. My highest qualification is a BA Education studies degree.

I am a hardworking person , I have over 5 years of experience in key stage one. I enjoy working with children and with other team members. I enjoy taking on new challenges and I am a responsible person and I am confident. I take regular courses in my free time . I have carried out parents meetings when the staff member I was working with was absent , this gave me experience on what a teacher would have to carry out I enjoyed this and talking to parents about their child’s progression.

I have undertaken after school clubs supporting children in their English and Maths . I have carried out an arts and crafts club for children as well which they enjoyed and I have done a film club as well. I have experience in taking phonics lessons every morning , furthermore I’ve taken a refresher course on phonics to keep my knowledge up to date. Once a week when the key stage one teachers would be out for meetings I would be teaching in the afternoon , I used to teach PE and PSHE. I’ve taken previously taken responsibility in marking children’s books and assessments. In my previous job I also had the responsibility to help during break and lunchtime duties.


During lockdown to keep myself busy I undertook a course on Specific Learning Difficulties to give me a better understanding and insight, I really enjoyed this course as I learned new things that I did not know before , this helped me with further progression in my job. I completed a second course on Safeguarding and Prevent as well.

Availability: I am flexible and able to work around the days and times you would like , I am
available on the weekends as well !
