I am an enthusiastic and positive person who loves helping children improve their skills and succeed academically. I believe if a child is having fun while they are learning they will improve much more, especially if they are learning a topic they may find difficult. I believe I am a passionate individual and can make any subject fun. Working in a primary school has given me access to the best resources to help children achieve to their best ability.

Availability: Tuesdays and Thursday after school and weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: While studying A-Levels I began tutoring family friends children that were in primary school which I found very enjoyable. I went on to study Psychology at university for 3 years; from completing a module in Psychology of Education I knew working with children was something I definitely wanted to do. I am now in my 2nd year working as a Learning Support Assistant at a Primary school in London. My main role is providing support and guidance with children of all abilities including working closely with those with Special Educational needs from year 3 up to year 6. I have also been running 1-to-1 mentoring session for upper school students (year 5 and 6) preparing them for SATS and 11+.
