My teaching is always at a high performance for all key stages in Sociology and has always been rated as outstanding. I have a strong knowledge and experience of being AQA examiner for the past 7 years which supports the delivery and understanding of the exam components. This also includes the current syllabus for the changes in examination content since 2015 and the development of extended essay writing.

I am confident on delivering AQA Sociology A `level and AQA GCSE Sociology 8192, which is now graded 1-9. I also have written the new sociology curriculum (within my department), sequenced key themes, written detailed MTP`s and identified the powerful knowledge in covering the syllabus offered by AQA.

I am an outstanding practitioner and my value added is always above average in the social sciences team. As a lead teacher of Sociology, my classes are one of the highest achieving option subjects and is always above the national average of 72%. My results summer 2022 were 84% grades 5-9 (22% 7-9) and A ‘level 100% A-C pass.
