I have a friendly, kind and understanding approach to helping my students achieve their best possible results in English. I keep lessons enjoyable and varied and always ensure the students develop the skills they find they struggle with. I tailor the strategies I use to the needs and abilities of each individual student. I appreciate the classroom environment is not conducive to the learning of all students and sometimes one to one gives them a boost in confidence and increased awareness of the skills they need to succeed in English.

Experience: I have been a qualified teacher for 8 years. I have been second in English, lead KS3, SEN provisions and have coordinated whole school literacy. I have taught all abilities of 11-18 year olds.
