I have always loved maths. With over 20 years in education I have seen the challenges that some students are faced with and just how much they can underestimate their own potential.
Additional one to one support will not just improve your child’s academic performance but also their self esteem.
My approach is always highly personal, adapting my techniques and communication to the needs of your child. Our first appointment will be at no charge and will give me the opportunity to get to know your child and their needs.

Availability: I will always try to be flexible but generally my availability is either Weekdays, between 5.30 - 8pm, and potentially weekends by arrangement.

Experience: I have 20 years experience in education and educated to post degree level in Maths, English and Art. My specialism though is in teaching Mathematics.
I currently teach at Bournemouth and Poole College with previous teaching experience at local comprehensive schools in the area.

we contacted Inese last September to support our son during his last school year (Y11) and in support of the GCSE exams. Due to lockdown and remote learning, our son school performance deteriorated pretty quickly , thankfully Inese was able to support us throughout the year and I am glad to say our son achieved the grade he needed to go to 6th form. Inese is a really good tutor and our son enjoyed the sessions. She comes across very well and she was really understanding of our son situation and our expectations. She was very flexible and supportive and I would definitively recommend her as a Maths tutor.

Inese was brilliant! I can’t recommend her highly enough. My son had good ability with maths, but had gotten stuck trying to do his revision on his own. Inese got him focused and using the most efficient methods. She frequently went over time making sure they got the work done and I believe her help was the reason he got a 7 at gcse instead of a 5.
