Information about Sherena
I specialise in working with teenagers who are approaching or at their GCSE pathway and who have anxiety around maths. I have a patient, gentle, nurturing style and my approach is to make maths more enjoyable as we build confidence and get the grades they need.

Availability: I tutor Face to Face weekday evenings and Saturdays. Please check my availability chart for up to date availability. My prices are based upon travel within a 5 mile radius of SK8.

Experience: I taught for a number of years, and was Subject Lead, Maths at a local school.
As a private tutor, I have successfully helped struggling students to achieve the grades they need for College and University. I work with students from year 9 - year 11 which includes Foundation & Higher level GCSE and IGCSE. I work with both AQA and EDEXCEL exam board specifications.

Sherena has massively improved my daughters confidence in maths. Her end of half term mark has improved. Sherena is very patient and calm and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Sherena is an absolute gem. Always on time, goes the extra mile and knows exactly what she is doing. She is highly skilled and had my reluctant son on board within a few meetings and is now encouraging him to tackle more challenging work. She is gentle and kind, working out what works best with each individual. I have total faith in Sherena and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Very lovely caring and dedicated tutor. Sherena has developed a positive relationship with my daughter which has aided onto the progress of my daughter. She is very patient and takes time to explain the concepts. Sherena goes above and beyond in trying to ensure that the concepts are grasped.
