I am a local Oxfordshire native and have recently completed my PhD in Classics at Balliol College, University of Oxford, and also work in Oxford as a musician. In 2019 I obtained a first-class degree in Classics from Balliol, and in 2021 completed a Master`s degree in Cuneiform Studies at Wolfson College, Oxford, with distinction.

Availability: I am available to teach all year round, and any day of the week, during the day and in evenings. I can be flexible to the student`s required times and frequency of lessons.

Experience: I have had extensive experience both tutoring and mentoring in person with individuals, as well as leading larger groups. I have worked with people of all ages, from primary and secondary school aged children to adults. As well as being qualified to tutor in Classics, I have also had experience teaching Music and Music Theory, as well as some more obscure ancient languages.

I believe an essential part of the job of a tutor is to go beyond merely offloading information onto the student by building up a rapport with the individual in order to develop their academic self-confidence and technique. All my past students who have come to me for help with preparing for exams or university entrance have met with success.
