Experienced teacher and tutor of both Business and Economics with an excellent track record supporting students achieve their full potential in the exam hall, e.g. A-level Economics A*-A 83% for 2022.
Availability: Mainly evenings and weekends during term times, and daytime during holiday periods. But can free up daytimes during the working week if requested.
Tutoring fee is £60 per hour for home tutoring located up to two miles from central Kingston. Discounts applicable for clients seeking longer sessions. Fee rates beyond the two mile radius are negotiated of a case-by-case basis, depending on approximate travel time.

Experience: Experienced teacher and tutor of both Business and Economics courses at A-level and at undergraduate degree level. I worked in the City for 12 years and then ran my own business for 13 years before entering the education profession in 2003. I was a Head of Department for 15 of the last 19 years and retired from full-time teaching in 2017. I work for three Examination Boards marking exam scri pts and also have extensive experience running 1-day and 3-day intensive exam revision courses outside term times.

Michael has very swiftly and efficiently aided my son with his knowledge and confidence in Economics for A level. The work Michael is doing with my son is giving him a fantastic jump ahead to material that will be covered in class in coming weeks. This gives my son a fantastic upper hand and really helps him absorb the material fully when it comes up in class

Michael gave our son 3 lessons in the holidays for Alevel economics. They got on well and our son benefited from the sessions. My son found Michael easy to understand and a good explainer who was happy to go at our sons pace . So we do recommend him and from our point of view he was friendly, punctual and flexible with tutoring times. So a good find on all counts.
