I graduated from the University of Nottingham with an Honours degree in BSc Biochemistry and Genetics in 2017. I am currently completing a PGCE Secondary Science (Chemistry) masters course to gain QTS (qualified teacher status). I have experienced teaching science at different types of secondary schools in London, where I am training to teach all sciences from KS3 to GCSE and specialising in A Level Chemistry.

Prior to teaching at secondary school, I have tutored science students across a range of exam boards. I find that prioritising students` grasp of the basic concepts in any discipline whether it be Biology, Physics or Chemistry, makes all the difference when students are preparing for GCSE and A level exams.
Working at secondary schools combined with my prior experience as a science lab technician has been extremely helpful in teaching science. I am also well versed in the practical side of all 3 science disciplines; an area which is often neglected in schools due to time restraints. Required practicals are now tested in the exam paper and a good grasp of these skills allows students to increase their grade substantially.

I am highly enthusiastic about teaching and helping my students gain the skills they need to attain top grades. I truly believe that any student, regardless of their starting level, with the right mindset and work ethic can achieve the grades they need for their future.

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE and A levels for the last 5 years. I am also midway through completing my PGCE in Chemistry & general science. Currently I teach all sciences at a at a London secondary school with previous experience at other vastly different secondary schools in London.
