Primary Literacy / Numeracy

I am a highly experienced KS 2 teacher (36 years) and ex deputy head (23 Years) specializing in Year 4 5 6.If your child requires extra support in preparation for the next academic year SAT`s or to prepare for external entrance exams or 11+ then please do not hesitate to contact me.

The first challenge , through discussion with parents and student would be to develop a programme of study based on the students needs.

I am happy to work with pupils of all abilities and strive to make my sessions enjoyable and challenging.

I pride myself on being able to build good working relationships with my students.

To offset the fee paid to Tutor Hunt there would be no cost for the first session.

Availability: Weekdays 4pm - 7pm negotiable depending on circumstances
I am also available during the school holidays.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: In September 2014 I retired as Deputy Head and Year 6 teacher at a very successful Primary school in Manchester . I have 36 years experience in Primary Education.

I am currently employed by Stockport Library Service on a part time basis. I also Tutor and work as an invigilator at Harrytown High School Stockport.


I am fully DBS checked with certificate of proof. I can also supply my CV on request.
