I have a First Class honours degree in English Literature from Cardiff University, graduated in 2017. I also have three A-levels in English Literature, Religious Studies and Photography which I received an A* for all three. I have an AS Level in English Language at grade B.
Since I graduated from University I have been working in an opticians whilst saving money to go travelling with my fiance. We visited South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, India and South America. I am very confident and articulate at communicating with people in a professional manner. I love English and reading and I am excited to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with others. Experience: I have undertaken work experience at Threemilestone Primary School in Cornwall working with years three and four. I helped with reading, writing and basic numeracy.

I have also been a babysitter for two young children in primary school during the Summer holidays whilst I was home from university. Not only did I plan a wide variety of activities to do, their parents had also asked that I take time to work on their reading and literacy skills. I really enjoyed this element and it was amazing to see their confidence and love of reading grow over the weeks.

I have assisted my younger sister during her English GCSE and A-level by reading and helping with her essays, giving advice, proof-reading and suggesting further reading material.
