I am a passionate, dynamic and organised individual with 3 years teaching experience in London secondary schools at GCSE and Key stage 3 level and 4 years teaching English language abroad and at a private London language school.

I strongly believe that in order to allow a child to make progress not only is high quality teaching needed but also the ability to build a rapport and show commitment to that child. If a teacher or tutor can instil enough confidence in an individual, then coupled with excellent teaching, no barrier to learning is ever impenetrable. This year I would like to develop my experience further by tutoring individuals either for GCSEs or if they need extra help at Key Stage 3 level and I strongly believe that I have the appropriate skills, personality and commitment to teaching to be a valuable addition to your tutoring team. I am also open to teaching adults who require English Language lessons.

• September 2018 – July 2018 – Teacher of English (Full-time maternity cover), NQT - Skinner’s Academy (teacher of KS3 and KS4) – Form tutor to Year 7
• January 2018-June 2018 - PGCE placement two - Park View School, Tottenham - taught KS3 and KS4
• September 2017- December 2017 – PGCE placement one – Cardinal Pole School, Hackney- taught KS3
• August 2010 - October 2012 - English language teacher at The Victoria School of English, Sloane Square
• December 2007 - August 2010 - English language teacher at The London School, Florence, Italy
