With a PhD in Austrian literature, I have over 30 years experience teaching German to children and adults. I have been a Head of MFL and Director of Teaching and Learning and and, having completed a CELTA qualification, I have also been teaching English as a Foreign Language online.

Availability: Available Monday and Wednesday 9am - 8pm UK time

Experience: I have many years of experience in the Modern Foreign Languages classroom, guiding children towards success at KS3, (I)GCSE and A Level in German. During this time, I have also tutored individuals, tailoring individual lessons to take into account the unique needs of learners. I have experienced the satisfaction of seeing students gain in confidence and achieve success, particularly at GCSE and A Level. With a PhD in Austrian Literature, I have a love of everything to do with the German speaking world, and like to bring some of this insight and enthusiasm into my lessons. Having completed a CELTA qualification (pass A), I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language online from beginners to advanced, and love the interaction with students from all over the world.
