Hello! My name is Dan and I am an EFL teacher.

I am a qualified and experienced teacher who is very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching EFL. I understand that learning English is so important for you and your future and I can`t wait to help develop your English skills and awareness.

I have the CELTA qualification which is assessed by Cambridge (completed in 2018) and I also have a 150 hour TEFL certificate assessed by tefl.uk (2014). In 2013 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management.

I like to create a classroom environment where the student feels completely comfortable. This is so important when learning a language. We should not feel scared about making mistakes as this is how we all improve. Mistakes are welcome! We can cover a range of topics in our lessons but I will focus the lessons on your interests. I want you to enjoy the classes and I will try to make them as interesting as possible for you! The lessons will, however, be challenging. But do not worry, they won`t be too difficult but no one benefits from a class that is too easy!

Finally, I would like to say that I am a very friendly teacher who is very approachable. I love meeting new people from around the world and so I can`t wait to see you in the classroom!

Availability: Afternoons and evenings, 7 days a week.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: My experience with teaching is around 17 months of teaching EFL. I spent one year in South Korea teaching children and teenagers. I then spent another five months teaching in Spain where I taught children, teenagers and adults. I gained another month of experience while doing the CELTA teaching qualification.
