Information about Lucy
Recently retired Head of English with experience of all Key Stages from Year 5-13. Examiner for OCR and International Baccalaureate. I have extensive experience of working with dyslexia, EFL students and Oxbridge entrants. I enjoy tutoring enormously because I can tailor lessons to the needs of each individual and help them progress.
Availability: I am pretty busy June-July because of exam marking but otherwise have lots of availability.

Lucy helped my daughter in the lead up to her A level exam and my daughter found her excellent in improving her essay writing skills and understanding the texts. I think the fact that she marks exam papers means she could advise on areas where she could maybe try and pick up extra marks. I know my daughter really enjoyed her sessions with Lucy and found them extremely helpful and ended up getting an A in her exam results.

Excellent tutor. Provided around 10+ lessons to my daughter, which greatly helped her. Highly recommended, greatly improved my daughter`s essay writing skills. Helped greatly with the past paper questions, this greatly helped my daughter in her actual A-level exams.
