I`m a 30 year old, 2nd year PhD mathematics student at the University of Bath with a 1st class integrated Masters degree in mathematics from the University of Sussex (including a term abroad in Uppsala, Sweden) and a Master`s in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bath. I have over 6 years experience in mathematics tutoring and would describe myself as a friendly and patient maths teacher.

I taught myself A-level Maths, Further Maths and English Literature in order to attend University, so I very much understand the challenges that come with learning and tutoring these subjects! In my spare time I like to see live music and write with my band.

Experience: From 2012-16 I worked part-time as a maths tutor in secondary schools alongside my studies at the University of Sussex, gaining a lot of experience of teaching GCSE maths in the process. I also worked at various summer schools at the University and am fully CRB checked.

In my time at the University of Bath I have tutored several modules in probability, statistics and programming.
After completing my Master’s in September 2017, I provided private full time GCSE and A-level Mathematics tuition to a variety of students of ages and abilities in and around north London. I am now just completing the first year of my PhD in statistics that I began in Bath in October 2018.
