Hi, my name is Rudra. I achieved 9s in Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A*A* in these subjects at A-Level, (alongside an A in Mathematics). I am now a first-year Pharmacy student at UCL with tutoring experience through youth volunteering in my local area. I am passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential and truly enjoy seeing their confidence grow over time.

My teaching style is co-operative and student-focused. I work with students to identify weak points, address misconceptions, and build confidence through clear explanations and supportive guidance.

In my online tutoring sessions, I focus on two key areas:

Content mastery – covering each specification point in detail so students feel confident in every topic.

Exam technique – teaching how to approach different question types, structure answers, and avoid common mistakes.

I believe exam technique is just as important as knowing the content, so my lessons combine both. Each 1-hour session includes targeted content revision and tailored feedback designed to build strong exam habits. Alongside this after each session I will ask students to complete exam question packs helping them embed what they have learnt with me and flag up any problems that we can correct in the next session.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to ensure they get the support they need to achieve their dream grades in GCSEs or A-Levels and open doors to their future career choices. I aim to create an encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to succeed.
