I am an assistant headteacher (5 years) at a local primary school. I listen to and work with my children. offering a high standard of education using many different techniques to keep the children engaged. I believe that discussion with the children helps me to identify their individual educational needs. This way, I am then able to vary my teaching styles and approaches to meet the specific needs and learning style of the individual pupil.

As I do in school, I believe that the more simple the approach is, the better the outcomes will be. First, I identify the children`s needs and specific learning goals/barriers. Then, through the use of clever planning and teaching approaches, I adapt my teaching to suit the specific child`s needs.
