I am a enthusiastic, dedicated and fun maths specialist teacher and tutor who tailors my approach to the individual pupils` needs. I am patient and kind and develop a positive open relationship with my students.
I am a fully qualified (DBS checked) first class graduate with 9 years experience of successfully teaching maths at all levels, KS3, GCSE and A Level with Statistics. I also particularly enjoyed tutoring many pupils after school. My tutees make fantastic progress in their subject, gaining confidence in class and homework, others have moved up to a higher set and all have gained the GCSE grade or A Level grade they wished for through dedicated working together. I have been working as a 1-2-1/ small group intervention tutor in a school part time since May and now wish to focus on tutoring after school which fits well around my younger family.

Some pupil aims may be to
- address areas of concern/consolidation classwork
-support with homework
-revision for topic/interim tests
-making progress to move to higher groups
-examination paper practice/technique
-assistance with tricky exam questions

I aim to enable each pupil to reach their goal in maths and gain a huge satisfaction from helping them get there. I see myself as more of a life coach, pupils gain in all other areas too as they develop revision strategies, test/exam techniques and confidence of working with a dedicated professional who has the time to listen and respond to their needs.

I am willing to travel to students home within a 10 minute drive although I would prefer the student to come to my home if possible.

Availability: My preferred days are Mondays and Wednesdays after school until late and possibly Saturday and Sundays.
I live in Shenfield and would prefer to tutor from the relaxed setting of my home.
