I have a Fist Class Law Degree from the University of Law (OU) and a Certificate in Higher Education from the University of the West of England. I am a member of [contact detail removed] and have a full, enhanced DBS.
At university I received a first, including an average of 87% in my coursework and firsts in all modules. I achieved 91% in my third year exams, and came 1st out of 473 students in two exams.
In my A-Levels I received an A in Law, B in English Literature and C in History.
I have travelled across North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Europe and once went to Antarctica. I enjoy photography, swimming, reading and cooking. Learning is my greatest love, and I have been teaching myself Italian, whenever I have some spare time.

Experience: Since May 2019 I have worked as a part-time tutor for a reputable agency in Colchester. During this time I have tutored almost 200 hours, with numerous success stories.
I have experience helping students re-sitting English exams at GCSE, students with knowledge gaps, essay writing, exam preparation, handwriting, punctuation, grammar, spelling, creative writing, understanding Shakespeare (Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet only), annotation and note-taking skills. I have tutored students to prepare for their speaking assessment at GCSE (achieved Distinctions).
Over the past two years I have worked with home-schooled students in History and English between KS3-KS4, marking past papers and essays, along with providing a recommended grade for GCSE. I have held timed, exam-condition assessments.
My key skills are helping students memorise facts, explaining information to develop knowledge, essay planning and writing, exam strategy and how to make effective revision materials.
I work with student to build their confidence, communication and organisational skills. My aim is to support students, helping them to build skills which go beyond the classroom!
During my A-Levels I had experiences of teaching, both English Literature and Law.
I worked aboard a six star cruise ship and taught English to an engineer, in order to help him pass his English test (which he did).
I tutored my sister when she was doing her GCSE`s and A-Levels in History and English Literature. She came top 5%.
