Information about Jan
I am a friendly, good humoured, experienced and enthusiastic Maths tutor who really enjoys helping students achieve their goals. I am delighted to say that the year 12 and 13 students who I have tutored on a 1 to 1 basis have all achieved high grades and have been successful at their chosen universities or colleges.
I thoroughly enjoy A level tutoring and am currently a team leader for Maths GCSE .
Availability: daytime, evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I thoroughly enjoyed 20+ years of teaching in a sixth form college and was a part time Maths Ofsted inspector
I am currently a senior examiner with AQA for Maths GCSE and have previously been an A level examiner.
I have relished being a 1 to 1 tutor for the last 15 years. It is truly a privilege to help students succeed at
a crucial time in their lives.

Jan has had a few sessions at our home now and has proved to be very encouraging, focused and patient. Jan has been flexible re times which has helped support my daughters schedule. She is approachable and very knowledgable regarding her subject. My daughter finds her teaching style appropriate for her needs. I would recommend Jan as a personal maths tutor to others.
