I am an experienced and enthusiastic Australian trained English teacher, working a full time, permanent position at a leading private secondary school in Ealing Broadway.

My tutoring sessions focus on developing the skills necessary to boost self-confidence in the subject of English. These skills are needed not only for current class assessments and GCSE exams, but are carried into Sixth Form and University.

It is the consolidation of these skills that allow students to progress and achieve above and beyond their English targets.

After five years of full time university (including a double degree in education/humanities and an Honors degree in English literature) and now moving into my fourth year of teaching, I can safely say that I have seen my students both in schools and privately in tutoring sessions achieve the success they deserved.

Experience: I am an Australian qualified English teacher with QTS status in England. I have a double degree in education majoring in English and minoring in History (Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts) as well as an Honours Degree in English Literature.

I have two years of previous teaching experience in Australia, and have tutored six individual students in Australia in their English coursework- all of these students were with me for a length of four years.

I have now worked in London schools for two years, and I have guided multiple Year 11 classes through their GCSE exams and have been given numerous, high quality professional development sessions about Progress 8. As a result, I am confident that my love of literature combined with my passion for education and experience with the new AQA grading system, will ensure your child is achieving their full potential in English.
