I love words and I am convinced that words are things and
when put together they can inspire and manifest ideas that only
exist in our imaginations. I have an intrinsic ability to tell stories
and navigate through language and voice in ways that engage
my students and convey complex ideas. I am curious. I am a
comic. And I am conscious. I am an experienced Teacher of
English and a middle leader. I am a speaker; I am a storyteller, and I am a teacher.
Availability: All tuition takes place online. Students are given a pre-tuition assessment which will inform the proposed learning flight path. Lessons are 60 minutes and students are given homework after each session. Students are provided with a workbook with all resources used during lessons - this is posted out to your home free of charge. I also send post-lesson feedback: this will include a summary of what happened during the lesson, objectives and targets and working grade.

Experience: I have 11 years of experience working within the sphere of education. I have taught English and Sociology overseas as well as locally, and I have many years of one-to-one face-to-face and online tutoring experience.
I am currently a middle leader in an Inner London Secondary school. I also teach English language and literature and Sociology up to A level. I am an AQA English Langauge GCSE Examiner and an AQA Sociology GCSE Examiner.
I have been observed twice by Ofsted and received an outstanding classification on both occasions.
I am educated up to Master`s level.
I have extensive experience working with young people with complex and challenging behaviors as well as pupils who are on the SEND register. I am particularly gifted at bringing out the greatness of passive and reluctant learners.
As a man of color who struggled to access the curriculum as a young person, I am able to relate and use their personal passions and interests to engage young people positively.
