I`m an experienced English teacher, passionate about my subject and ready to support students like you, using my in depth knowledge of the subject, relevant skills and exam content.

I make the effort to ensure my students enjoy the lesson - whether English is their favourite subject or not, it`s important to me that my students feel they are developing both as learners and as human beings. My passion and love for my subject shines through my teaching style and communication with my students.

I care about making a difference to the lives of young people, however that may be. In this instance, it`s through supporting them in their learning journey and doing what I can to boost their chances of having a successful future. It`s why I took on the role as an English teacher, Curriculum Leader and Deputy Year Leader. Outside of this, I am a panel member for a specialist fostering agency and am currently a Master`s student at UCL, studying Children`s Rights.

Experience: I have experience teaching students from Years 7-13/KS3-5 and have taught a wide range of literature, covering varying genres and styles. I also have experience as English KS3 Curriculum Leader, this experience allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of the texts and skills taught to students and developed my own skills regarding curating and tailoring effective and engaging lessons and an exciting and diverse curriculum. My experience as Deputy Year Leader allowed me to improve and further hone my skills and ability to work effectively with young people and support them in their academic journeys; encouraging them to grow and thrive as learners and individuals.
