My name is Carrie I am a professional opera singer based in Chester, who teaches Singing and Music Theory teacher.

I have many qualifications in Singing and Music which include of vocal and operatic studies where I was offered an entrance scholarship, at the Birmingham Conservatoire with a First Class Honours. At The Royal Academy of Music I was awarded a distinction in both my Masters in Vocal studies and my Advance Diploma in Opera studies.

I have been singing for 15 years, and obtained my grade 8 singing (ABRSM) and grade 5 theory (ABRSM) at the age of 15. I have had many experiences on stage both in musicals, performing main roles in various musical society`s from the age of 9 to 20. And with Opera, as during my studies at the Conservatoire, I have been fortunate to perform main roles in the Conservatoires yearly Operas.

I have also performed in a professional pantomime production at the Regent Theatre in Stoke-On-Trent with `First Family Entertainment`, playing the role of the Fairy Godmother in `Cinderella`. Starring Christian Patterson, Jonathan Wilkes and Kai Owen from ";;;Doctor Who";;; spin-off ";;;Torchwood";;;.

I have performed opera for many professional companies, including Grange Park Opera, Glyndebourne and also abroad with the Salzburg Music Festival.

I have entered exams and many competitions, including winning the Mario Lanza Operatic Prize, which one of its previous winners was Rhydian Roberts of X factor.

I am looking to take any kind of students, whether your a student who wants to improve on your singing, and is thinking about pursuing singing as a career, or a student who just wants to have fun and learn how to sing.

I teach any age, any level from beginner to advanced And any genre. Whether its popular singing, musical theatre or classical, I will help to improve your musical ability to perform in this area. Lessons will include vocal warm-ups, performance coaching, language coaching and help with auditions, exams or any performances you have in the near future.

I also offer Music tuition and Music Theory Lessons, to help students with GCSE`s and A-Levels, as well as helping students obtain their grade 5 theory to be able to advance to take higher grades in their chosen instrument.

Although I have many students through tutor hunt and in person, I am always willing to try and accommodate you and your days and times. Some of my students are always willing to swap days or times if needs be.
