I have a positive and energetic teaching approach, and this helps in motivating students, I am flexible and understand that every child is different and learns in different ways. I will tailor my lessons according to what is best for your child.

I am fully DBS checked.

Availability: Monday to Thursday: During the day or after school.

Cancellation: If you give at least 24 hours notice I will attempt to rearrange the lesson at a mutually convenient time. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the cancelled lesson must be paid for.

I will travel to your home and, depending on the distance, I may have to charge an extra £5 for travel expenses. This will be discussed before the lesson.

Experience: I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher and have taught all years from Reception to Year 6; I have led the mathematics curriculum and have extensive experience of teaching the Year 2 and Year 6 SATS. I am happy to tutor all subjects at a primary school level for all years including the 11+ entrance exams.
I have always been interested in education, and studied social sciences at University of Bath, where I focused my studies on child development and leadership. I then went on to training as a primary school teacher at the University of Kingston (PGCE) where I specialised in Mathematics.
