I am an experienced English Teacher currently working at an `Outstanding` Secondary School in Birmingham. I teach English across Key stages 3 and 4 (GCSE level). I am, however, available for tuition at key stage 2 also as I have previously taught in primary schools.

I have also previously worked exclusively as an intervention specialist with year 10 and 11 students requiring urgent exam/coursework intervention, particularly those students that are C/D borderline candidates in order to secure their minimum `C` grade.

I pride myself on my ability to understand individual learning needs and develop strong rapports with students so that they may feel comfortable and confident enough to learn and maximise their full potential.

Experience: I hold a First Class Honours degree in Psychology from Cardiff University. This supports my ability to work with young people of varying levels of ability and demeanour with success from gifted and talented to those with special educational needs. Or even those who just need an extra push in the right direction.

UK awarded QTS as Teacher of English, grade 1 (Qualified as `Outstanding`).

I have worked in a variety of educational facilities with students of all cultural backgrounds and capabilities. My enthusiasm to ensure student progression is what qualifies me as a highly successful tutor and teacher of English.

I have DBS certification. I am a driver so I am happy to come to you.
