Information about Joanna
I have graduated from Imperial in 2021 with an MSci degree in Mathematics. As a person who strongly believes in the power of education I not only enjoy studying but also teaching. I think that all students are able to understand mathematics if they are given time and attention. Individual tuition offers an opportunity for me to share my passion for mathematics. There is no better feeling than seeing people understand a topic they first struggled with.
Availability: Monday - Friday - after 6pm
Sundays - afternoons

Experience: I began my journey as a tutor over seven years ago. Feeling an urge to share my knowledge I decided to try helping less privileged students to reach their academic potential. Since then I have worked with both younger children and more recently with A-Level students. Currently I have 200+ hours of one-to-one tuition experience. I have taught both Edexcel and OCR Maths A-Level and I have completed AQA Maths myself. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve their goals but also to build a good relationship with the family and to interest students with the subject.
