I am a passionate teacher who is willing to teach GCSE, AS and A levels in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Physics. Currently I am an examiner for EDEXCEL A level Chemistry and a Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London where I teach biological science. My teaching techniques in improving exam technique as well as teaching the fundamentals of science through problem based learning.
Availability: weekends and evenings only.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been tutoring students for GCSE and A-levels for a long time and have a over 90% success rate for my students achieving at least a Grade A in their exams. I have also taught at high schools and colleges to gain more experience in teaching. I am currently a Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London.

Unfortunately Julie`s teaching approach didn`t match my sons` learning style and what we were looking for in an A Level chemistry teacher. He found explanations not thorough enough for A Level and therefore was unable to continue with lessons. However, Julie may have potential for good GCSE level teaching.

I am very glad that we have Julie as my daughter`s tutor. She is very organised and thorough.
It is not often that my daughter says that she enjoys her lessons, but she does with Julie. And that says a lot about Julie. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good tutor.
