I offer tuition in Psychology for the the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Educas syllabi at A level. For the new GCSE 9-1 and BTec Psychology courses, tuition can also be arranged specific to the topics you are covering. I have excellent subject knowledge and teach exam skills that are also necessary for success in psychology exams, to the specific specification.

My approach is tailored to each student, drawing up a tuition plan after our first lesson to maximise progress and to ensure achievement.

Learning takes place in a quiet study at my own home.
Students are regularly given written tasks and encouraged to email their work to me. This provision I include as part of the tuition at no extra cost.

I am a registered member of the ATP (the Association of the Teachers of Psychology) and uphold their standards of professionalism.

Availability: I am usually available after school, all day on Friday and weekends. There will be additional tuition sessions available during Easter and half term holidays in the run up to the exams.

Experience: I have been teaching psychology since 1996 within schools, colleges, at University as well as on a one-to-one basis. From 2002 - 2004 I was an examiner for the AQA, module 2 exam.

With the change of syllabus I have attended a number of CPD meetings to update my awareness of assessment criteria and how best to enable learners provide answers that maximise their marks.
