Hi I`m Rhiannon, I graduated from the University of Bath with a first class degree in Chemistry in September 2021. Immediately after graduating I worked as a data analyst which I really enjoyed as it allowed me to put my technical knowledge into practice! Now, I am currently studying for a PhD in Chemistry, to continue my enjoyment of research and learning! I have a love for learning (especially in science!) and I am really passionate about passing on knowledge and helping others to become the best they can be! I achieved A*s in 10 of the GCSE`s I took and have a good knowledge of the syllabus and exam technique needed, so students will be in good hands to learn and become more confident in their chosen tutored subject(s). I am friendly, approachable and patient and will always encourage students to do their best. I tailor sessions to each individual student depending on how they learn best and what is necessary to help them achieve. I am willing to set small amounts of extra work after the session if required to encourage students to practice what they have learnt outside of the tutoring environment to gain more confidence. I offer online tuition and use screen sharing so the student can see what I write as I write it, which gives the lesson a more personal feel as if we are in the same room. Furthermore, students have relayed to me that they prefer having online lessons as they find it less awkward than being in the same room as their tutor and offers them more flexibility during their day. Students have found online lessons as useful as in person lessons and their progress is equal to that of in person lessons.

Availability: Currently I have limited availability for evenings and weekends, but I can be available during the day for students who are home schooled or for any students that have free lessons during the day/finish school early etc. Please contact me for further information on my availability so we can discuss your requirements. Experience: I have been tutoring for the last five years now, I started tutoring as a sixth from student helping lower school students prepare for their GCSE exams. Since leaving sixth form and moving to higher education I have continued to help students with subjects and content they need help with, and have also been tutoring on other online tutoring websites. Having taken GCSE`s, IB and numerous university exams, I can relate to how students may feel when it comes to content they might need help with, whether it be boosting confidence in certain subject areas, or the lessons being a safe space to ask questions which they don`t feel they can in a classroom environment.
