I am a very patient and calm person with a passion for maths.
I find tutoring very satisfying as it enables me to focus on individual topics for as long as it takes the students to grasp them because it is normally one to one, whereas teachers will always be under pressure to move on regardless of how many students have fully understood.
I always try to find different ways to explain topics if they don`t click immediately, and students have often said they wished their teachers could have explained it that way.
I look forward to helping students achieve their full potential in maths.

Availability: I am available most days of the week including weekends and I travel to pupils homes because students are generally more comfortable in their own home.

Experience: I graduated from the Open University in 2015, I have a BSC Honours Degree in Mathematics.

My degree modules were:
Analysing data
Pure mathematics
Mathematical methods and models
Number theory and mathematical logic
Groups and geometry
Graphs, networks and design
Complex analysis.

I also have two daughters, one has a degree in forensic psychology and the other is studying electronic engineering at university, so I understand the pressure on students to do well both as a student and a parent.

I am a mathematics exam marker for Edexcel.

I have been tutoring for a few years now and I am happy to tutor maths students from KS3 to A-level.
