I studied English at Southampton University and graduated with First Class honors in 2013. I have a Masters degree in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, obtained in 2015 with distinction.

My academic background gives me a thorough grounding and enthusiasm for literature and the history of art. I found university daunting and enjoy making both literature and art accessible, digestible subjects. I love unpacking images and texts and enjoy encouraging this in others. I understand what it is to not understand and have a good knowledge of current curriculums and exam technique.

Experience: I have experience of producing plans and lessons to assist with putting together coursework and breaking down exam preparation as well as offering essay writing support and proof reading from GCSE to degree and postgraduate level. I have edited PhD theses and worked with GCSE students to study set texts and get ready to analyze unseen poetry - and appreciate the pressures of both!
