After graduating with a Double First from Oxford, I was a full-time Teacher of Classics at Winchester College. I have been a private tutor since 2012.

I read Classics at New College, Oxford, and graduated in 2015 after achieving First Class in Honour Moderations and Greats. I was an academic scholar at New College and was awarded a faculty scholarship. Prior to this I took my GCSEs at Benenden School, Kent, and my A-Levels/Cambridge Pre-Us at Westminster School, London.

This past academic year I worked full-time as a Teacher of Classics at Winchester College - a top public school in Hampshire. I taught Latin and Ancient Greek, focusing on language, literature and ancient history, to boys aged between 13 and 18. I taught a GCSE Latin set of boys who had begun Latin only two years before 75% of the set achieved A*s and the rest received As. I led Oxbridge preparation sessions for two students who both secured places at the University of Oxford. During my time at Winchester College I gained much experience teaching pupils with special educational needs. I also had a pastoral role in a boarding house and coached sport. I was a drama assistant and in charge of stage makeup for the school theatre.

I have worked as a private academic tutor since 2012. I have taught Latin and Ancient Greek both in person and over Skype. This has included language, literature and Oxbridge preparation.

I recently taught English and Maths as a volunteer for a summer school at the Newman Catholic College in Harlesden. The students there were Syrian, Palestinian, Afghan, Eritrean and Iraqi refugee children. While still at school I also taught Latin in an inner London school once a week.

I am a very keen and naturally able linguist. I recently attended a month-long course in Thessaloniki, Greece, learning Modern Greek.

I am about to begin the GDL at City University and I hope to become a barrister.

Availability: From mid-September 2016 I will be available for tutoring. I live in the EC2 postcode area and study in the N1 area.
