I am a first-year university student studying Biomedical Science at [contact detail removed]. I have recently sat my A-levels and therefore am in a good position to support, advise and guide KS3/GCSE students through their exams. I have been a student mentor previously for years 8 and 9 and have a good understanding of the beneficial exam techniques. I have also been tutoring 3 students, from year 7 to GCSE, for a year. This means I have experience and useful and tested resources which I can provide.

For students I will shape my lessons towards their needs, providing past exam questions, Powerpoints and sending work for them before the lesson which I would mark and provide feedback. This will allow the students to learn and advance their skills as well as prepare them for their future exams.

I am experienced in writing high-quality assignments and received an A in both my Extended Project Qualification and my A level History dissertation. This has provided me with a good knowledge of how to carry out research, structure and present information that will lead to a strong essay.

Availability: I am available throughout the day between my lectures and in the evenings on weekdays, and then morning and afternoons on the weekend. My schedule is flexible and I would be willing to provide help whenever I can.
As it is now summer I am available at any time for the next 3 months.

Experience: In Sixth Form I was a mentor to younger pupils in English and Science.
I also have past experience with tutors who have supported me in my exams and therefore understand the patience and the variety of approaches needed to benefit the learning of the student for what fits them best. I also have a wide knowledge of useful online resources which I will use to engage the student and make the lessons fun.
I have for the last year while being a first year at uni, I have been tutoring 3 students, 2 GCSE students and 1 year 7. This means I have a wide range of resources and experience at providing suitable lessons for different ages and providing help for upcoming exams.
