About Me

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic background. I hold an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy from Durham University, where I was rewarded several prizes for outstanding achievement. I worked as an economic consultant for several years in Oxford.

I offer both online and in-person tutoring sessions, using tools like virtual whiteboards to enhance the learning experience. Whether you need ongoing academic support, exam preparation, or help with specific assignments, I am here to support you in achieving your educational goals.

My Tutoring Approach

I focus on fostering an understanding of the subject matter by tailoring each session to the individual student`s needs. I believe in a pupil-centric approach, where the student’s current knowledge serves as the foundation for building new understanding. By structuring topics incrementally and providing the right amount of guidance, I help students discover solutions independently, which enhances their confidence and retention of material.

My sessions are dynamic and interactive, often using visual aids, exercises, and relevant examples to clarify difficult concepts. I am patient and adaptable, ensuring that each student feels supported and motivated throughout their learning journey.

I believe tutoring should be an enjoyable experience for students, and so I incorporate their interests, real-world examples, and data visualisations to keep them engaged.

My goal is to help students achieve their educational targets through clear communication, structured learning, and a supportive teaching environment.

Experience: 4.5 years of experience within an economic consultancy, where one of my main responsibilities was to provide tutoring on statistics, mathematics and their implementation in quantitative research.
