I specialise in tutoring pupils on the 4/5 borderline but i am also adept at teaching higher GCSE and i have helped several students reach grade 8/9 on the new specification.

Availability: All weekday evenings and sunday.

Experience: 12 of my 13 students achieved a grade 4 or higher in their Maths GCSE last year with 2 achieving Grade 9, my one exception improved from ungraded to a Grade 3.

I cover the following key stages: KS2, KS3, KS4 for a variety of exam boards: Edexcel, OCR and AQA.

My approach is to provide tailored tuition on a one to one basis to students to help them improve their mathematical knowledge and boost their confidence in their own ability.

I teach my students how to think independently and analytically, preparing them for the problem solving style questions the new GCSE includes. This will allow them to develop skills that will help them to succeed in Mathematics, in addition to other subjects
