Hi there, I’m Arthur, I’d like to help students aged 9-16 (Year 6 SATS to GCSE) who need a little extra support with Maths and/or Physics. I am new to Academic Tutoring but have a background and experiences that I believe will make me an accomplished Tutor.

My Background: I achieved 13 A*-C grade GCSEs in 2011, before accomplishing the International Baccalaureate at Sixth Form College. Following this, I moved to the University of Sheffield to complete a 5 Year Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. I now work for British Airways as a Structures Engineer, responsible for the long term Structural Integrity of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Fleet.

Availability: Evenings and Weekends available.

Experience: About me: I like to keep fit and active, and understand how important a fresh mind is to do well. As a keen cyclist and cricketer, I was awarded the England Cricket Board Young Coach of the Year in 2012 and have many years of Cricket coaching experience for young people between aged 6 and 18. I also play the trombone, being part of Brass Bands and Orchestras for the past 15 years.
