Information about Hannah
As a professional Teaching Assistant i am caring, passionate, enthusiastic, and find it very rewarding seeing my students achieve. I ensure my teaching is engaging and provide challenging learning experiences. I believe that all students should be given the same opportunities when it comes to their education to ensure they have the best outcome for their futures.
I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated approach to teaching to allow for inclusivity within my classroom. I strongly believe there is no one size fits all approach to learning. Therefore i constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.
I am keen to support students as much as possible and help them build up their confidence to enable them to achieve their expected target grades for GCSEs.
Availability: Due to working full time in a high school, I am available monday-friday after 4pm and anytime on the weekends. :)

Experience: I am a Qualified Teaching Assistant. I have worked in a secondary school setting supporting students aged 11-16 for 4 years. I have completed both level 2 & 3 in Teaching and Learning and many other CPD courses to help support my role. I am currently completing a primary educations degree part time. I have completed 1-2-1 intervention with many different ability students. My role requires me to adapt my teaching to support SEN learners. I differentiate my work to ensure students are able to understand the tasks whilst making it enjoyable.
I am passionate about helping students through their exams and the students I tutor have found my exam preparation methods particularly effective. I utilise my sessions to lay out model exam answers for students.
I specialise in Mathematics and English at GCSE level.
