Sophie

I graduated from Cambridge University where I studied English, but maintained a strong interest in music as a choral scholar. I have been interested in folk music since I was very young and have been playing the accordion now for over a decade. I play for theatre as well as gigging as a musician. I know how frustrating and difficult the accordion can be as an instrument as I was mostly self taught and as a result have picked up a fair number of techniques that can help students whatever their musical background.

Availability: Morning, afternoons and evenings are all fine.

Experience: I gig as a folk musician and work as a musician and singer in shows. With my theatre company I have led music and theatre workshops for a variety of ages. With the accordion I have taught both adult learners and children.
