Hi, I’m a fourth-year medical student at Imperial College, and I’ve been tutoring for over 500 hours across subjects ranging from maths and science to medical school prep. Having achieved 3 A* grades and ranking in the top 1% for both the UCAT and BMAT medical admission tests, I understand what it takes to succeed in exams and am passionate about helping others do the same.
I’ve worked with students of all ages, from those preparing for the 11+ exams to those in medical school, and I pride myself on tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. Whether you`re aiming for top marks in your GCSEs or A-Levels, preparing for medical school entrance exams, or need support with your medical studies, I’m here to help you reach your goals.
Availability: Monday-Friday: 5pm Onwards
Weekend: Flexible, (preference is earlier in the day)

Experience: I have over 300 hours of tutoring experience, both in-person and online, across a variety of subjects and academic levels. I’ve successfully helped students prepare for 11+, GCSEs, and A-levels, as well as supported those preparing for medical school entrance exams (UCAT, BMAT) and personal statement writing. Additionally, I tutor medical students, helping them navigate their way through the challenging material of medical school.
My tutoring approach is personalized to suit the individual needs of each student, whether it’s breaking down complex topics in science and maths or refining critical application skills for medical school entry. I aim to make learning engaging, manageable, and tailored to achieving the best possible results.

Haris is an amazing tutor and has helped massively. His lessons follow a concise and streamlined teaching style that I found very effective where problems in working, lack of content knowledge or understanding are addressed as they arise rather than being noted and addressed sequentially at the end of the exercise/question. I find this to be a more effective method of teaching since immediately correcting the mistake means that you will not make the same mistake in later parts of the question and exercise so less time is spent correcting the same type of error and therefore more teaching can be done! Aside from his way of teaching Haris is a very nice person and was happy to answer other questions I had regarding areas of chemistry after our lesson ended. He is better than any chemistry teacher I have had in school and I strongly recommend him to other students!

I`ve had a few lessons with Mr Haris on A-level Chemistry content and so far he has been very helpful in both teaching content and helping to consolidate any knowledge. His help with reviewing exam questions and support with exam technique are both excellent and have helped me to improve my approach to certain questions and save time. The content that he has taught me has helped me to go ahead of my curriculum to get a head-start and he ensures you are following along. He is very respectful and patient as well, and gladly helps with anything you are unsure of.
