Information about Aishwarya

Hello! I`m Aishwarya and I am a medical student at UCL, which is currently ranked 6th in the world.

Medical admissions can initially seem incredibly daunting;; I had once been scared myself. However, through accumulating plenty of practice I gained confidence and subsequently got through the entire medical admissions process with a 100% success rate! I received interviews and offers from UCL, Imperial, King`s College London and St George`s University of London (SGUL).

I am an experienced tutor with over 250 hours of tutoring and teaching experience. Many of my students have gone on to study at top universities such as Imperial and UCL.

I tutor in all aspects of the medical admissions process, from UCAT, BMAT and Personal Statement, all the way through to interview. I`m also very happy to give advice on which medical schools to apply to. My teaching style is tailored specifically to each student and thus changes a fair bit. Generally speaking, it involves first identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the student, nailing the theory for fundamental topics (as well as continuous practice of those topics) and plenty of mock exams/interviews to ensure all the skills developed can be practiced by the student in a cumulative manner. In my sessions I can also help with the personal statement, ensuring that it fits the criteria panels are looking for and I will also go through questions which could be asked that are specific to the personal statement.

Having gone through the process of applying for Medicine, I recall the challenges of it all very well and I want to give the advice I wish I had received.

My key advice is that the medical admissions process is a marathon, not a sprint. Be sure to organise your time well, focusing primarily on our weaknesses - we can work together to identify and tackle these! Remember to work smart. And lastly, remember to aim high!

Please feel free to get in touch and ask me any questions! I am always happy to help.
