I can help you improve exam grades, classroom performance, essay technique and engagement with the subject, all in a friendly, student-focused, quiet environment.

Having studied history to degree level, I am passionate and knowledgeable about studying the past. My dedication to and love for history means I offer an engaging and accessible way into history.

I also achieved an A* in Spanish A Level and so am well suited to helping improve pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.

What’s more, I genuinely enjoy interacting with other people, communicating my interests and sharing knowledge.

Availability: I am available most weekday evenings and on weekends.

Experience: While in Oxford I volunteered my time through outreach schemes to assist local GCSE pupils from a local school in preparing historical presentations to give before their teachers and peers.

During my A Levels I was a mentor to Spanish students, offering one-to-one help and sometimes leading the class with the teacher and other students.

When I worked for PureGym I was promoted to training mentor to pass on my experience to new staff on a one-to-one basis. In November 2018, I was voted training mentor of the year by my peers and superiors.
