Information about Kaleem

Cambridge and Edexcel Endorsed author and Exam Revision Expert
I am a passionate, driven and enthusiastic teacher of Physics and strive constantly to improve my teaching methods and the resources I provide to my students. My expert and bespoke design, and use of technology, allows parents and students to track progress in real-time.

With a comprehensive and ever-growing list of resources such as videos covering British Curriculum Syllabuses including traditional and bold practical demonstrations, I am aware of the need to attract and hold the attention of students. To this end, I explain Physics concepts through skydiving, bungee jumps, zip lines, bungee swings and fast cars. I feature in all of my productions and my demonstrations also include experiments that students can take part in from home. I continue to embrace social media and I am now developing resources on various platforms.

I have written two endorsed textbooks for Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel. It was my students’ thirst for the essential details in an easily digestible manner to help them to achieve their full potential which inspired the writing of Cambridge IGCSE Physics Explained and Edexcel International GCSE Physics Simplified.

An educator since 2005, I was born on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland in 1980. I graduated with a BSc. Honours degree in Optoelectronics and Laser Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 2002 and went on to do an MSc. at The University of St Andrews, before completing my PGDE in Physics at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. I taught in Scotland before moving out to the Middle East and have taught Physics at IGCSE, AS and A level.

Beyond my professional work, I am a married father of two, one boy and one girl, whom my world revolves around. I am a keen golfer, footballer, cyclist and high-intensity interval training enthusiast. I love to travel and explore different cultures and their heritage. I have a passionate interest in personal development and growth and have attended several courses. I enthusiastically pass on success mindsets and habits to the students in my care inspiring a can-do approach.
