Information about Sarah
I’m a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS and a NASENCo qualification. I have 2O years of teaching experience.
My favourite subjects are English (Phonics, Writing,Reading and Comprehension)
I teach all subjects from Reception to Year 4.
I support with studying/revising for tests and supporting with homework and provide intervention to help with gaps in learning due to pandemic. I am able to provide additional support to Home Learners.
Availability: I am currently available from September on Fridays from 11am until 7pm and Saturdays 9am-10 am.
I would prefer to travel to your home and I’m not tutoring on line at the present time.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I have taught for 2O years in an Inner London Primary school.
In addition I tutored a child with an Educational Health Care plan weekly for 4 years in preparation for his SAT’s and 11 plus examinations.

We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Sarah has had on our daughter’s learning journey. From the very first lesson, Sarah`s kindness and patience truly stood out. She has a wonderful way of making each lesson enjoyable and engaging, tailoring her approach to suit our daughter’s learning style for example, using Encanto themed worksheets because our daughter expressed an interest in the movie. Today was our daughter’s second lesson and she was super excited prior to the lesson and spoke fondly of Sarah after the lesson, highlighting how much she enjoyed the lesson and their time together. She even said she wanted to do more worksheets, if they had the time. It`s clear that Sarah not only understands the material but also knows how to make learning fun and accessible. We’re so thankful for her dedication and the positive influence she’s had already on daughter’s confidence and excitement for learning. Thank you Sarah 😊;

Sarah has been tutoring our two children (5 year old and 8 year old) and they love her lessons - she is very calm and patient, comes up with interesting ways to keep them engaged and within just a couple of months they have become much more confident with writing, reading and maths. I have used Sarah for almost a year and my daughter always looks forward to her sessions. She is considerate and patient and knows how to keep her engaged. She personalised every work material to ensure it was topics she was interested in and really helped boost her confidence in English. We have only ended the sessions due to relocating abroad, therefore, I would highly recommend her services. Thanks for your help in developing our child.
