I`m a qualified SENCO with 10 years experience teaching in mainstream and special needs provisions.

I am offering English and Maths tutoring for students in Key Stages 1-4, including preparation for 11+ examsand GCSEs. I have specialist qualifications and experience meaning that I am particularly successful in helping students with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, understand English and Maths key concepts and skills.

Availability: Weekends and evenings.

Experience: Having initially qualified as a secondary teacher, I progressed to becoming a member of the Curriculum Leadership Team and teacher in a special needs school for students with speech, language and communication disorders. This role meant that I taught English and Maths across Key Stage 3. I then returned to teach at a mainstream secondary school in my role as Director of Inclusion (SENCO), teaching maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (including preparing for GCSE maths) as well as teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 nurture classes which focused on developing students` Maths and English key skills.
I am now working as the Head of Learning Support in a top independent prep school in West London. I lead a team of teachers and teaching assistants to not only identify students displaying signs of specific learning difficulties and in need of further support, but to also develop specific interventions aimed at addressing these difficulties.

I have a Masters in Education from University of Cambridge in Inclusion and Special Needs as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Coordination.
