As a qualified and experienced secondary science teacher, I have a strong track record of helping students achieve excellent results. I offer tailored tuition in GCSE Science and A Level Physics, drawing on years of classroom experience and deep subject knowledge.

I work with students aiming to improve their grades, as well as home-educated learners, those doing resits, and students who find the traditional classroom difficult (including those unable to attend school due to anxiety). I have regular daytime availability alongside evenings, so lessons can fit around your routine rather than the other way around.

I`m familiar with the major exam boards, including AQA and OCR, and understand how to navigate their specifications to help students succeed.

In addition to teaching, I also work as an examiner for AQA. This role gives me valuable insight into how exams are marked and what examiners are really looking for in student responses. I use this knowledge to teach students how to interpret questions accurately, structure their answers effectively, and apply their knowledge in a way that maximises marks — whether that`s pushing a good grade higher, catching up after a resit, or building solid understanding from the ground up. It`s not just about knowing the content; it`s about knowing how to use it strategically in an exam setting.

For home learners, I provide a structured, complete learning experience rather than just homework help — we build a clear plan of what needs covering and work through it methodically. For students who struggle with the school environment, I offer a calm, low-pressure space where there`s no judgment and we go at a pace that works for you.

My sessions are friendly and approachable, designed to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make progress.
