I am both a qualified and experienced teacher and a PhD student, meaning that I have both the expertise and flexibility to support you to achieve your potential, whether you have had a smooth experience so far and are looking to brush up ahead of exams, or things have been more challenging and there are barriers you feel we need to overcome. I have spent the past 2 years as a mentor alongside teaching, and so I am ready and waiting to help you identify your goals and help you reach them.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher with four years` classroom experience. I have also been tutoring for nine years, having completed over 300 lessons at Secondary, GCSE and A Level and across the OCR, AQA and Edexcel exam boards.

I also have specific experience mentoring young people with SEN and SEMH needs and so am very able to tailor content and exam practise to ensure that every students reaches their potential. I am particularly experienced in supporting young people who have had inconsistent attendance or interruptions to their schooling.

As a PhD student, I also bring a wealth of experience of the subject - both in breadth and depth - that allows me to shed light on even the most nuanced and obscure seeming parts of the specifications. Over the past decade I have studied Philosophy, Ethics, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Extremism, Secularism, Atheism, Anthropology of Religion, Ritual Studies and Identity Studies, among others, all at degree level and above.
