Information about Lydia
I am an English teacher, not a tutor - I provide high quality education to young people who require additional challenge and/or support. Prior to my time as a teacher, I was a teaching assistant so I understand the merits of working 1:1. I have a plethora of methods, resources and guidance for a range of students.
I truly believe that students learn best in a relaxed setting with lots of praise and encouragement to support their efforts. As a teacher, I have access to resources that non-subject specialists would not have, such as exam mark schemes and the most recent exam papers for a range of age ranges.
A recent review:
Lydia has been a Godsend for my daughter. Right from the start Lydia made her feel comfortable and took the time and effort needed to explain things. My daughter also feels `at home` at Lydia`s place which encourages a positive learning experience. Without doubt I would highly recommend Lydia to anyone seeking a great tutor.
