Hello everyone!

My name is Elia and I am 23 years old. I am from Valencia (Spain). I have just started my career as a teacher and I moved to Coventry in October because I was selected to participate in the language assistant programme by the British Council.

I have just finished my degree as an English primary teacher at Universidad de Valencia. I also studied one year of the degree abroad at Stockholm University in Sweden. Moreover, I have a postgraduate course on how to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Universidad de Valencia and Instituto Cervantes. On the other hand, I have been student of the school of languages in Spain during 6 years in order to improve my English.

Nowadays, I am living in Coventry and I am working in a high school as a Spanish Language Assistant. In this school, I am working with students of year 9, year 10 and year 11 in order to enhance their speaking skills. I have experience in private tuition because during my degree I always helped some students with their English. Moreover, last year I was working in a state adult school in Yatova (Valencia), one of the subjects that I taught there was Spanish for foreigners. In the class I had English students who had an A2 level of English.

From my point of view, I feel that I am a responsible, organized and friendly person and I would be more than happy to help you to improve your Spanish.

Availability: Tuesday __> afternoon (16:30 -19:00)
Thurdays __> morning and afternoon (9:00 -14:00)
Friday __> afternoon (16:00 -19:00)
